Our new facility, located at 1317 Pine Avenue in Alma, has been completely remodeled with your comfort in mind. It offers ground-level access under a covered canopy, a beautiful, spacious chapel, and a comfortable family lounge. We’ve also included a full selection room to help families make thoughtful choices, along with ample off-street parking and many other conveniences designed to make a difficult time a little easier.
As always, we’re here to assist with pre-arranged services and to honor any existing pre-arrangements with the same personal care that defines everything we do.

Smith Family Funeral Homes is family-owned and operated by Samuel and Carol Smith, along with their daughters: Emily Smith (Office Manager) and Hannah Schmidt (Licensed Funeral Director), and Hannah’s husband Joshua Schmidt. Our family is proud to serve families throughout mid-Michigan, with locations in Ithaca, St. Louis, St. Johns, Elsie, Ovid, and Fowler.
