Jimmie Clayton Clark

     Jimmie Clayton Clark, age 79, of Alma, MI, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2026, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alma, MI.
     A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Alma, MI, at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
     Jimmie was born in Lansing, Michigan on June 17, 1947, the son of Cecil and Mildred (Raymond) Clark. Jimmie married Barbara Wegner on November 12, 1971, in Lansing, MI.
     Jimmie loved hunting, especially with family. He liked to play his banjo and enjoyed whittling. He loved anything to do with the outdoors.
     He is survived by his wife Barbara Clark of Alma, MI; sons: Brent and Laura Clark of Alma, MI; and Bryan and Jennifer Clark of Beaverton, MI; grandchildren: David, Charity, Faith, and Joshua (Anna) Clark; step-grandchildren: Dennis (Amy) Darmody and Richard (Olivia) Darmody; step-great-grandchildren: Merewynn, Silas, Ezra, Lavinia, Eleanor Darmody, and Lorin Sanders; his sister Barbara Axton of Florida; sister-in-law Joyce Clark of St. Johns, MI; sister-in-law Paula and Jan Holubowicz of Colorado; many nieces and nephews. Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, his parents-in-law, his brothers: Kenneth and Thomas Clark, also brother-in-law Howard Axton.
