Wilmer Barber

Wilmer Allen Barber, age 62, died January 1, 2014. He was born in Greenville, MI, July 17, 1951, the son of Arthur and Carol (Lehman) Barber. Wilmer attended Mt. Hope Church in St. Johns and was a member of U.A.W. Local #952. He married Wanda Baker and she preceded him in death on June 16, 2008.

He is survived by his son, Wilmer (Kathryn) Barber II, of Ashley, granddaughter, Heather (Kyle) Kimmel of Perrinton, 2 great grandchildren, Ethan and Brookelynn Kimmel, his mother, Carol Barber, 2 brothers, Dave (Darr) Barber, Jeff (Connie) Barber, 8 stepchildren and many other step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Wilmer was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Barber and grandson, Wilmer Allen Barber III.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Sat., January 11, 2014 at Mt. Hope Church in St. Johns with Pastor Rick Shaull officiating. The family was served by the Osgood Funeral Homes.
