Wilma Mizer

Wilma Fay Mizer, age 83, of Alma, MI, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021, at Woodland Hospice House, Mt. Pleasant, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at Alma Twin Cities Seventh Day Adventist Church, Alma, MI on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Daniel Jean-Francois officiating.  A luncheon will follow the service.  Visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M. until the service starts.

Wilma was born in Seville Township, MI  on April 16, 1938, the daughter of  Richard Ermond and Myrtle Viola (Swift) Eldridge. Wilma graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1979. She married Jeremiah Samuel "Jerry" Mizer on April 13, 1980, in St. Louis, MI. He preceded her in death on February 17, 2005.

She loved gardening, her flower beds, and her church. She was an active member of the Alma Twin Cities Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her children: Pamela Joy Butler of Kalamazoo, MI, Mark Shane and Lara Butler of OR, Timothy Shawn and Jean Butler of Battle Creek, MI, Thomas Edward Holley and JoAnne Painter of Alma, MI, Edward Eugene and Dawn Holley of Carson City, MI, 12 grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Donna Hastings, and Virginia Zwierzynski, brother Donald Leroy "Gus" and Sharon Eldridge and many nieces and nephews.  Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jeremiah Mizer, 4 sisters and 6 brothers.
