Wilma was born in Clinton County, Michigan on December 4, 1935, the daughter of Howard and Mildred Marie (MacDonald) VanHorn. She graduated from Elsie High School, and would go on to become a stay-at-home mom to three wonderful children. On March 12, 1955, she married Robert Jay "Bob" Ferrall at the Church of Christ Parsonage in Stockbridge, MI by Rev. Lombard. They were blessed with 67 years of marriage prior to his passing on April 2, 2022.
Every summer, Wilma and Bob loved taking camping and motorcycle trips with other members of the Chapter U Gold Wing Riders. She was known to be a prankster by her family, always playing tricks on her grandchildren. After her children had grown up, Wilma spent much of her time cleaning homes, taking care of the elderly, and doing arts and crafts. She always looked forward to the holidays because of how much she loved spending time with her family. Wilma loved having her family around, whether it is up north at the cabin, the trailer in Florida, or her home in the Michigan countryside.
She is survived by her children: Mona Jean Ferrall of Bannister, MI; Richard J. (Carolyn) Ferrall of Bannister, MI; and Cindy Jo Ferrall of Eaton Rapids, MI. She is also survived by her grandchildren: William Hansen II, Roger Hansen II, Robert J. Ferrall II, Angela Tracy, Melissa (Will) Harper, Walter (Amy) Ferrall, Tanna LaHaie, and Race (Jena) LaHaie; her great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Alexis, Rhema, Isaac, Luke, Aedon (Percy), Liam, Addalynn, Nora, Allie (Jordan), JoJo, Harley, Nala, Kaylee, and Carson; great-great grandchild: River; and several nieces and nephews.
