William Donley

William James "Bill" Donley, age 68, of Sumner, MI, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at his home.

A cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Bill's Life will be held at the St. Louis Moose Lodge at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 29, 2022.

Bill was born in Alma, Michigan on January 6, 1954, the son of Gerald and Dorothy (Bayliss) Donley.  He graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1972.  Bill served in the National Guard and was a lifetime member of ABATE and Moose Lodge #1566, St. Louis

On July 7, 1984, Bill married Deb at the Sumner Church.  They were blessed with 37 years of marriage.  Bill was an avid Michigan Fan - "GO BLUE!"  He was a Harley Man through and through and loved to ride his motorcycle.  He was a generous man and would give you the shirt off his back.  He was a people person always ready to talk with friends.  Everyone will miss his voice-to-text messages!  Bill's greatest joy in life was to torment his wife.

Bill is survived by his wife Deb, 6 children: Trinity Donley, Tracy Kane, Amberlyn (Rick Bishop) Plath, Aimee (Marty) Seaman, Tara (Larry) Rolette, and Nathan Donley.  He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Tavin, Ara, Treyton, Taylor, McKenna, Elaina, Colton, Olivia, and Augustus; several brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Stellow and father Gerald Donley, infant son Billy Donley, and one brother Gerald Donley.
