William Gordon Clark

     William Gordon "Bill" Clark, age 77, of Wheeler, MI, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026.
      Funeral Services will be held at Floyd Church of God, Midland, MI, at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, with Pastor Steve Gulick officiating. Burial will take place at Ridgelawn Cemetery Breckenridge, MI at a later date. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church.
      William was born in Alma, Michigan on January 27, 1949, the son of Gordon William and Dorothy Elaine (Gibson) Clark. He was a graduate of Breckenridge High School, with the class of 1967. On July 14, 1973, he married Barbara Powell at the Breckenridge United Methodist Church.
      Bill was a lifelong resident of Wheeler. He retired from Hemlock Elevator in 2011, and worked for Oswald Oil and Farmers Petroleum. Bill owned and operated Clarks Auction Service for the past 45 years, which was his love. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, taking care of his yard and driving around with his dog observing wildlife. Bill loved to visit with friends and neighbors. He was a member of Floyd Church of God in Midland, MI.
       He is survived by his wife Barbara Clark of Wheeler, MI; daughter Bobbie and Mike Wilson of Sterling Heights, MI; son Brad and Julie Clark of Mt. Pleasant, MI; 3 grandchildren: Kayla and Ben Bartosh of West Bend, WI; Logan Clark of Mt. Pleasant, MI; and Lindsey Clark of Mt. Pleasant, MI; brother-in-law Keith Huff of Johannesburg, MI. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Sherry Huff.
