Waunetta Rose Goldman, age 91, of Bannister, Michigan died Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Ashley Care Center, Ashley, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 1:00 P.M., with Mr. Thomas Bradley officiating. Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Gratiot County, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. until time of services.

Waunetta was born in Ashley, Michigan on May 29, 1920, the daughter of Frank and Golda (Brewbaker) Shinew. On August 8, 1936 she married William T. Goldman Sr. in Ashley, Michigan. William died on March 3, 1993. She resided most of her life in the Bannister area. Waunetta was a homemaker who enjoyed making table cloths, bed spreads, doilies and afghans. In her younger years she enjoyed deer hunting and fishing with her husband.

She is survived by daughter Diane Bates of Owosso, MI, son Willard and Marilyn Goldman of Bannister, MI, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and 2 sons; William Jr. and Robert J. Goldman.
