Walter William Hosmer

     Walter William "Bill" Hosmer, age 82, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Monday, September 7, 2026, at his home.
     Per Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
     Walter was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on December 12, 1943, the son of Walter William and Donna Hosmer. Bill honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. He then went to work for Kodak where he retired after many years as a service technician. Bill was a talented drummer, playing in a rock-n-roll band. He lived his life to the fullest, loved traveling with Venetta and listen to music. Bill's faith was very important to him.
      He is survived by his wife Venetta "Nicki" Hosmer; daughter Alison Hosmer Stahlman; son Brett Hosmer; daughter Janet McConnell and Rod Purtill; son Willis and Laurie McConnell; daughter Audrey McConnell; daughter Dawn McConnell; grandchildren: Amy Jo, Lyndsie, Jennifer, Nick, Jesse, Chad, Erica, Alexis, Andy, and Kyra; many loving great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters. Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
