Tyler was born in Lansing, MI, on June 5, 1996, the son of Steven Lee and Michele Rene (Stubbs) Pease. He graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School, with the class of 2014, and would go on to complete his apprenticeship in 2023, as a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter with the United Association of Sprinkler Fitters Union 669.
As a wrestler from the age of five, Tyler would go on to wrestle in multiple regional competitions during high school. In 2012, he joined the fire department as a cadet, working his way up to a lieutenant before his retirement in 2025. He loved to hunt and fish, but most of all loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his daughter, Peanut.
He would do anything for anybody - there was no such thing as a stranger to him. Tyler lived his life to the fullest, and was loved by many. He was an amazing son, brother, and co-parent; and a reliable friend to those closest to him. Tyler also had a strong work ethic and once he had his mind set on something, he would always follow through.
He is survived by daughter Mila Pease; his co-parenting partner Carrie Sieffert (Seiffert and Pierman families); his parents Steven and Michele Pease; his sister Stevi (Doyle) Smith; his grandparents: Harold Pease, Janice (Linda Hooker) Pease, and Bill and Joy Wreggelsworth; many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends that he loved like family; and his dog Boone. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Michael Stubbs, and Sue Pease; great-grandparents: Alice and Larry Miller, Homer and Donna Stubbs, Arthela and Reo Pattison, and Harold and Martha Pease; and his cousins: Joey Hehrer, Zach Miller, and Angie Miller.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his daughter's future, please, direct all memorials to Michele Pease. Online condolences can be sent to www.smithfamilyfuneralhomes.com. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes - Houghton Chapel, Ovid, Michigan.
