Travis Harkness

Travis David Harkness, age 28, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021, at his home.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Travis was born in Carson City, MI on May 1, 1993, the son of Kenneth Mier and Jenny Rae (Harkness) Koons. He graduated with honors from Ithaca High School with the class of 2011.

Travis enjoyed helping others. He was always willing to lend a hand. He liked to read books and play video games. He also was always ready to go places with his friends, especially to the fair. Travis enjoyed life.

Travis is survived by his mother Jenny Rae Koons, father Kenneth Mier, sisters: Sarah Koons and Sydney Harkness; grandparents: Dennis (Sherry) Harkness, and Gale (Kurt) Hutfilz; great grandfather James Diehl, aunt Crystal Sikon and uncles: Tyler Hutfilz and Trevor Hutfilz; great aunts and uncles: Teresa (Ivan) Wheeler, Deb Crable, Brad (Diane) Harkness and Doug (Marita) Harkness; Dawn (Jim) Peterson and many other special family members. Travis was preceded in death by his great grandparents Bonnie and Duane Harkness, great grandmother Elsie Jean Diehl and great aunt Regina Diehl-Mast.
