Tobias James Frayer

     Tobias James "Scotty Herald" Frayer, age 41, of Lansing, MI, passed away Monday, November 11, 2025.
     A Time of Sharing will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI, at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, November 17, 2025, with a time of visiting from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
     Tobias was born in Lansing, Michigan on October 28, 1984, the son of Scott E. Herald and Dedee M. (Frayer) Holley. He was a graduate of Holt High School and later attended Lansing Community College.
     Tobias enjoyed playing video games online with his friends, especially Dungeons and Dragons. He was very talented with computer skills and will be remembered for his wide range of knowledge in many different areas. Tobias was very kind and friendly to others; he defiantly was warm-hearted with a big heart.
     He is survived by his mother Dedee and Patrick Holley of Onaway, MI; his father Scott and Deanna Herald of Iowa; his sister Ashley and Nate Grice of St. Johns, MI; his brother Atticus Holley of Onaway, MI; his grandfather Lionel Frayer, Sr. of Laingsburg, MI; his grandmother Linda and Jim Walter of Owosso, MI; nieces and nephews: Johnathan, Savannah, and ALexieus; his uncle Lavern Frayer, III of Laingsburg, MI; his aunt Dorothy Schultz, of North Carolina; his uncle Lionel and Joanie Frayer, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, MI; his aunt Elizabeth Romanek of Tennessee. Tobias is also survived by many cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles. Tobias was preceded in death by his grandmother Georgia Frayer, his uncle Robert Frayer, and his uncle Gordon Schultz.
