Timothy J. "Tim" Anderson

   Timothy J. "Tim" Anderson, age 63, of East Lansing, MI, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, Lansing, Michigan.

     Private burial will take place at Union Home Cemetery, St. Johns, Michigan.

     Timothy was born in St. Johns, Michigan, on April 6, 1959, the son of Samuel C. and Dorris Jean (Morehouse) Anderson.   He graduated from Tucson High School in Tucson, AZ with the class of 1977.  On March 19, 1999, Timothy married Sandra Kay Sigafoose at the Bannister United Methodist Church. 

     Tim loved to fish and was one of his favorite activities to do with Sandy.  He also enjoyed hunting even though he always missed his first deer due to buck fever.  Family outings were always a joy, playing volleyball games and things brought him happiness.  Tim loved to eat and always enjoyed a good meal of seafood, but especially loved desserts and sweets.  His favorite cook and baker was Sandy.  Tim will be fondly remembered for his wonderful sense of humor.  Tim and Sandy had a donkey named "Nester" and a mule named "Festus", Tim would even brush Nester's teeth.  He also loved to grow flowers in their yard.  Tim made the very best beef jerky.

     He is survived by his wife Sandy Anderson; sister-in-law Shari Weber; sister-in-law Shelly Sigafoose and David Baese; sister Karen Anderson and Doug Foster; brother John and Paulette Anderson; sister Phyllis and Gordon Squier; sister Jan Anderson; brother Eric and Susan Anderson; brother Dennis Anderson.  Tim is also survived by many nieces, nephews and sister-in-law Sandy Sigafoose.   Tim was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law Everett and Arlene Sigafoose, brothers-in-law: Gary Sigafoose, Steve Sigafoose, and Roger Sigafoose.
