     Thomas Marvin Chapko, 90, of Perrinton, MI, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025, at his home.
     Per Tom's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there are no services to be held at this time.
     Tom was born in Middleton, MI, on March 23, 1935, the son of Paul and Anna (Benadick) Chapko. He graduated from Fulton High School, with the class of 1953. He went on to work various jobs in the area before settling as a crane operator at Lobdell-Emery. He retired after 42 years of service.
     Tom married the love of his life, Nancy Joan Haas, on October 6th, 1956, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Ithaca, MI. They spent 69 wonderful years together, spending summers fishing in Cadillac and winters in Florida.
     He was a hard worker, but in his free time you could find him fishing, or playing euchre. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family, and eating pie. He was known as the "Pie Man," he had two favorite kinds of pie: hot and cold.
     Tom is survived by his wife, Nancy Chapko; his children: Pat (Kent Adams) Chapko, Karen (Neil) Christie, and Mark (Kim) Chapko; his grandchildren: Nicholas (Alyssa) Chapko, Jenee Chapko, Jeff Chapko, and Sam Chapko; his great-grandchildren: Nyla Melton, and Valerie Chapko; his sister Shirley Saylor; his daughter-in-law Tara Chapko; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Brian Chapko, infant son Phillip Chapko, and his brother Paul Chapko Jr.
