Teresa Marie Pung

     Teresa Marie Pung, age 92, of Pewamo, MI, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Green Acres Retirement Living, Ionia, MI.
     A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo, MI, at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, with Rev. Fr. Darrel Kempf presiding. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Pewamo, MI. A luncheon will follow at St. Joseph Parish Center. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 4-8 P.M. with a Rosary prayed at 7:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Goerge Chapel, Fowler, MI.
     Teresa was born in Fowler, Michigan on October 22, 1932, the daughter of Leonard P. and Barbara Ann (Koenigsknecht) Rademacher. Teresa married Clare John Pung on October 30, 1950. They were blessed with 62 years of marriage, prior to his passing on September 2, 2013.
     Teresa was a wonderful homemaker who loved cooking, baking, gardening, canning and raising her family on the farm. She spent 12 years as the Lyons Township Treasurer. She was an avid quilter,enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and loved to polka. Teresa and Clare enjoyed many camping and fishing trips together. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo, MI.
     She is survived by her children: Karen and Jay Johnson, Kenneth and Virgene Pung, Kathryn and Mike Miller, and Linda and Jack Terry; siblings: Susan and Hillary Fedewa, James and Mary Ann Rademacher, John and Cathy Rademacher, Ruth Ann and Robert Thelen, Diane Burns, Lucy Orr; and brother in-law Hank Hansen. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clare, siblings: Sister Alice Rademacher, Janet Barberio, and Germaine Hansen, in-laws: Jerry Orr, Joseph Barberio, and Carol Burns.
