Steven Durand Kelley

Steven D. Kelley, age 66, of Shepherd, died Friday, June 1, 2018, at Bay Regional McLaren Hospital in Bay City.

Steven was born in Charlotte on March 18, 1952, the son of Lester Vidal and Dorothy Irene (Horn) Kelley.  He married Frances Jean Hine who preceded him in death on March 11, 2006.  He worked in the oil fields for many years.

Steven enjoyed fishing and would put a line in the water as he drove about stopping at flea markets and yard sales.  He was a mechanic and loved to work on old cars, especially anything with a Dodge emblem on it.  He especially loved the time he spent with his family and friends.

Steven is survived by his three children, Dorothy (Steve) Martin of Shepherd, Lucinne Kelley of Shepherd, and Steven Kelley of Clare; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and his sisters, Yvonne (Skip) Foster of Sunfield, Ann (Gary) McCune of Charlotte, and Doreen Kelley.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; his parents; and his brothers, Duane Kelley and Terry Kelley.
