Sharon Kay (Squiers) Somers

     Sharon Kay Somers, age 72, of Elsie, MI, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at her home.

     A memorial gathering will take place on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Ovid Veterans/Lions Hall with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 A.M. with a memorial service at 12:00 P.M., with a luncheon to follow.

     Sharon was born June 7, 1949, in St. Johns, MI the daughter of Avery and Onalee (Hemenway) Squiers.  She was married to Bill Somers, who passed away in 2017.  After graduating Ovid-Elsie High School in 1967, she spent most of her working years at Lear in Elsie.  She had a large loving heart, getting great joy in helping people.  She enjoyed her family very much.

     Sharon will be greatly missed by her brother Larry, his wife Yvonne, nephew Avery and his children: Alexis and Lucas. The family would like to thank very special friends: Chris Kioski and Sandy Litomisky for all the help they gave to Sharon.
