Sharon Pauline (Aldrich) Biddinger

     Sharon Pauline Biddinger, age 83, of Ithaca, MI, went to be with the Lord , on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Masonic Pathways, Alma.

     A private family funeral service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, MI, with Pastor Chuck Seeley officiating. Burial will take place at North Star Cemetery, North Star, MI. Visitation will be held 5-8 P.M. on Monday, April 24, 2023, at the funeral home.

     Sharon was born in Alma, Michigan on June 5, 1939, the daughter Richard George and Mina Marie (Brennan) Aldrich. She was the Valedictorian of the Class of 1957 at Breckenridge High School.  On September 6, 1958, Sharon married Phillip John Biddinger at the Breckenridge United Methodist Church. They have been blessed with sixty-four years of marriage.

     Sharon was devoted to her family and was an amazing wife and partner in all aspects of their farming business. She became known for her hearty meals to family and farm help served with a ready laugh and a kind word. She loved to play the piano and passed that love onto many students. It always delighted her when she was approached on many occasions by those who shared their fond memories of piano lessons with her. Sharon was generous with her piano talent and played for many years at Amazing Grace Church and Edgewood Church of God.

     She is survived by her husband John Biddinger, four children: Beth (Bob) Weickel, David (Gina) Biddinger, Kristene Stambersky, and Dan (Bea) Biddinger; seven grandchildren: Danielle (Charles) Simmons, Cody (Kristyn) Rhynard, John P. Biddinger, Jessica Biddinger, Ashten Stambersky, Amanda (Conner) Denney, and Jonathan (Jordan) Biddinger; four great-grandchildren: Lennon, Sloane, Payton, and Carson; brother Bob (Charlene) Aldrich, and sister-in-law Pat Aldrich. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard Timothy Aldrich, father & mother-in-law David S. and Bernice (Parker) Biddinger, and two sisters-in-law: Joan Biddinger and Evelyn Parling Bloomberg.
