Seth Mathew Dietrich

Seth Mathew Dietrich, age 18 days, of Alma, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw, surrounded by his family.

Seth was born August 2, 2014, in Saginaw, the son of Eric and Gail (Long) Dietrich.  He was a fighter and a champ, his mother’s “big guy.”  He fought hard for his 18 days of life, but was always happy and loved the sound of his mother’s voice.  He was his father’s “bright eyes” and his sister’s “little duck.”  He was loved by all who cared for him and in his short time, touched many lives.

Seth is survived by his parents, Gail and Eric Dietrich; his brothers and sisters, Samantha, Scott, Laci, Gabe, and Anthony; and his aunts and uncles, Gayla and Craig Harrison of Alma, Paul and Connie Long of Shelby, Charles and Rena Long of Alma, Karen and Mark Beck of Clay City, IL, Josh Massey of Alma, and Carl Doty of Alma.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 25, at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca.  Interment will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery in Breckenridge.  Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, August 24.
