Sarah Anne Clark

     Sarah Anne Clark, age 58, of Elsie, MI, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI, at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 21, 2026, with Rev. Keith Whipple officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, MI. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
     Sarah was born in St. Johns, MI on October 27, 1967, the daughter of Earl Richard and Donna Jean (Longcor) Clark. She graduated from Ovid-Elsie Area Schools with the class of 1986. Sarah went on to graduate from Baker College in Owosso, MI with an associate’s degree. Sarah was an Underwriting Associate with Michigan Millers for almost 22 years.
     Family was very important to Sarah. Her love language was gift giving, and would always start Christmas shopping for everyone months in advance. She loved keeping up with her cousins, no matter how distantly related they were.
      She had a special skill for keeping folks in contact, and would arrange yearly reunions for her coworkers at Michigan Millers. She also had a knack for scrapbooking and gardening flowers. One of Sarah's biggest passions in life were her cats, and advocating for her feline friends.
      She is survived by her sister-in-law Lu Anne (Donald) Cuthbert of St. Johns, MI; her nephew Kristopher (Danielle) Clark of Lansing, MI; her niece Jamie Lee (Garrison) Ridenour of Lansing, MI; and nephew Joseph (Elizabeth) Clark of St. Johns, MI. Sarah is also survived by great-nieces and nephews: Mikayla, Briahnna, and Ashley Corbeil; and Logan, Natalie, Wyatt, Morgan, and Lorelai Clark; her aunt Peggy Longcor; and many cousins. Sarah was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, brothers: James Michael Clark and Jeffrey Scott Clark, and several aunts and uncles.
