Rose Ann Blasen

      Beloved sister, Rose Ann Blasen, age 66, of Haslett, MI, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 5, 2025.
      Funeral Services will be held at South Lansing Christian Church, 6300 N. Aurelius, Lansing, MI at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, with Pastor Wally Lowman officiating. A graveside will take place at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday at Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, MI.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI.
     Rose was born in St. Johns, Michigan on September 7, 1958, the daughter of Clarence Joseph and Therese Ann (Sommer) Blasen.
      Rose retired from Sparrow Hospital, working in the Finance Department. She was an avid reader and loved bible studies. Rose supported the Humane Society and Paws with a Cause due to her love of dogs. She gave freely of her time, volunteering to help others. Rose was a member of South Lansing Christian Church.
      She is survived by her brothers: Stanley Blasen, Floyd Blasen, Russell Blasen, Roger Blasen; sister Barbara Blasen; and pseudo sister Betsy Endelman. Rose is also survived by various cousins, nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Susan Stevenson.
