Ronald James Jacobs

     Ronald James Jacobs, age 85, of Perrinton, MI, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026, at his home.
     A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church, Perrinton, MI, at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, with Rev. Fr. Edwin Dwyer presiding.
     Ronald was born in Hastings, MI on September 14, 1941, the son of Harold James and Marcele Marie (Edmonds) Jacobs. He was a graduate of Grand Ledge High School. On June 29, 1983, he married Vickie (Seeley) Barlow.
     Ron worked for Diamond Reo and General Motors. He is an avid motorcyclist. Ron took great pride in caring for his yard, his passion was mowing lawn and tending to flower gardens. He mowed lawns for most of his neighbors. Ron was active with the Rainbow Lake Association and helping with storing boats. He will be fondly remembered for his kind heart and his love of helping others. He was a member of St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church.
     He is survived by his wife Vickie Barlow; daughter Shari Hunt; son Christopher Jacobs; stepson Jeffery Barlow; his grandchildren: Angela, Kelly, Jacob, Elliot, and Allan; 6 great-grandchildren: Carter, Natalie, Jackson, Gabby, Olivia, and Jason; brother Tom and Vickie Jacobs; sister Judy Tomlian; sister Debbie Jurich. Ron was preceded in death by his parents.
