Ronald Vernon Brennan

     Ronald Vernon "Ron" Brennan, age 79, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, MI, on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Randall Brandon officiating.  Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Alma, MI.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.

     Ronald was born in Alma, Michigan on June 4, 1942, the son of Lyle J. and Irene Marie (Seip) Brennan.  Ron graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1960.  He married LouAnn Inbody on May 13, 2000 in Alma, Michigan.

     Ron was a lifelong farmer in Gratiot County.  He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family.  Ron was very proud of his family and was always interested in their lives.  He loved spending time with family, his animals and his dog Bella.  Ron enjoyed visiting and never met a man he didn't like. He was a member of Community Baptist Church in Alma. 

    He is survived by his wife LouAnn; son David and Jodi Brennan of Alma, MI; son Michael and Monica Brennan, of Alma, MI; daughter Tammy and Phil Howdyshell of Ithaca, MI; step-daughter Teri and Bill Coty of St. Louis, MI; 8 grandchildren: John Brennan, Nick Brennan, Noah (Kiana) Howdyshell, Maesi Howdyshell, Morgan (Tim) Redman, Jacob Brennan, Nathan Coty, and Joshua Coty;  6 great-grandchildren: Brantley and Luke Redman, Raelynn Brennan, and Kason, Wesley, and Natalie Howdyshell.  He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Ronald Lyle Brennan.
