Ronald Dean Bensinger

     Ronald Dean Bensinger, age 85, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Lansing, Lansing, MI.
     Per Ronald’s request, cremation has taken place, and there are no services to be held.
     Ronald was born in St. Johns, MI, on September 1, 1940, the son Charles F. and Wilma Pearl (Whittaker) Bensinger. He graduated from St. Johns High School, with the class of 1959. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, and would go on to work as a foreman for General Motors until his retirement.
     He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Bensinger; his children: Brenda (Harold) Helig, Robin Bensinger, Mark (Margo) Bensinger, and Greg (Tracy) Bensinger; his siblings: Richard (Jan) Bensinger, and Pat (Bill) Saurebek. He is also survived by his brother-in-law John Swanchara, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson Austin Cody, and his sister Jean Swanchara
