Robert Taylor

Robert Paul Taylor, age  83, of Ovid, MI, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Sunday, September 26, 2021, at his home.

In following Bob's wishes, a cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

Bob was born in Ovid , Michigan on July 5, 1938 , the son of Don and Ruby (Darling) Taylor.  Bob worked for Midland Ross for many years until they closed.

On November 28, 1987 , Bob married Sharon (Carroll) Martin at their home in Ovid.  They were blessed with 33 years of marriage.

Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing. Family was most important to Bob. He loved spending time with them and was always at his grandchildren and great-grandchildren's special events.

Bob is survived by his wife Sharon, son Bryon (Kristi) Taylor of Bannister, MI; daughter Shelly (Mark Owens) Taylor of Mason, MI; step- son Rex (Kim) Martin of Owosso, MI; 6 grandchildren: Nate (Jenn) Taylor, Cassie (Adam) Coleman, Zach (Jenny) Salander, Nikki Salander, Chassidy (Mark Crumbaugh, Jr.) Martin, and Jeremy (Sam) Martin; and 10 great-grandchildren: LeaLynn, Phillip, Brayden, Nolan, Parker, Maggie, Josie, Talon, Natalie, and Blaze; and the mother of his children Norma Schroeder.  He is also survived by 6 siblings: Lois Wadsworth, Linda White, Richard ( Sandy ) Taylor, Gordon (Kathy) Taylor, Donnie Taylor, and Dennis (Beth) Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.     Bob was preceded in death by his parents, 4 siblings: Donna (Dale) Dumond, Betty (Gene) Pettigrew, Barb Stewart, and Jim Taylor; brothers-in-law: Richard Wadsworth and Leo White; sister-in-law Mary Taylor and 2 step-sons: Eric Martin and Danny Martin.
