Robert Price

Robert Darrel Price, age 72, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Thursday, September 23, 2021, with Pastor Brian Wickes officiating at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI.  Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10:30 A.M at the funeral home.  A private burial will take place at Chapel Garden Cemetery, Elwell, Michigan.

Robert was born in Alma, Michigan on May 8, 1949, the son of Clyde P.S. and Rose Frances (Ley) Price.  He graduated from Montabella High School with the class of 1967.

On October 8, 2005, Robert married Cheryl Lynn Becker in St. Louis, Michigan.  Robert was a hard worker. He was a supervisor for Hitatchi Magnetics Corp in Edmore and finished his career at Robroy Industries in Belding.

Robert loved his family and enjoyed going to his grandchildren's sporting events.  When he was able, he liked to hunt and fish.  In his younger years, he played on a golf league.  Robert was a member of the St. Louis Moose Lodge.  He especially loved his dog, Lulu.

Robert is survived by his wife Cheryl, sons: Jeff (Teri) Price of Belding, MI, and Monty (Tara) Price of Belding, MI; and step-daughters: Angela Benton of St. Louis, MI and Amy Nisonger of St. Louis, MI.  He is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Chelsea Price, Nickolas Price, Hanna Price, Jackson Price, Phillip Jones-Price, Tyler Benton, Trevor Benton, Emily Benton, Joshua Nisonger, and Donald Nisonger; sister Karen (Amer) Gharzeddine, and nieces: Jenna and Amanda.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
