Robert Lyle Mepham

Robert Lyle Mepham, age 51, of Roscommon, formerly of Ithaca, passed away February 21, 2016.

Robert was born September 21, 1964 to Robert Clair and Doris Irene (Becker) Mepham in Carson City, Michigan. Robert played the drums as part of the Praise Team for the Middleton Maranatha United Brethren Church. He was a Detroit Lions fan and enjoyed camping with his family. But most of all, he loved his grandchildren and loved to spend time playing with them.

Robert is survived by his children, Audrey (Dave) Johnson of Houghton Lake, Amber (Steve) Mitchell of Centerline, Sarah (Travis) Schwartz of Prudenville, Melody (Lee) Emery of Houghton Lake, Matthew Mepham of Houghton Lake; grandchildren Angelene, Abby, Hailey, Jordan, Libby, Raelynn, Andrew, Matthew, Jr., Nevaeh; his father Robert Mepham of Ithaca, and brothers Larry (Crystal) Mepham of Ithaca, Jeffrey Mepham of Alma, and Kevin (Lori) Mepham of Owosso. He is preceded in death by his son Hunter and his mother Doris.

Funeral services for Robert will be 11am Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca with Pastor Larry Mepham officiating. Visitation will be 3-6pm Tuesday, February 23, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to his family.
