Robert LeRoux

On Friday, May 3, 2019, Robert Lee LeRoux; loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away at the age of 73.

Robert was born on March 27, 1946 in Saginaw, MI to Leo J. LeRoux and Dorthea M. Bierd. Robert proudly served his country in the Navy from 1964-1968, serving in the Vietnam War. On December 30, 1967, he married Sandra Lee Telfer. They raised two children, Robert Chad LeRoux and Natalie Ranee Ling in Bay City, MI and later Alma, MI where Robert worked for Consumers Energy for over 40 years.

All those that knew Robert would attest to his undying loyalty to his family and friends, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He was an instant friend to those who met him, but most importantly the most loving husband, father and grandpa. Robert was preceded in death by his father Leo, his mother Dorthea, his step father Jack Bierd, and his wife Sandra. He is survived by his children Robert Chad LeRoux and Natalie Ranee Ling, his grandchildren Taylor Blanton, Derek Griffin, Alexander LeRoux and great grand-children Maximus, Exodus and Jay-Jay Blanton, several cousins, and countless friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Elks Lodge on 610 W. Warwick Drive in Alma, MI at 1:00 P.M.
