Richard Herrle

Richard A. Herrle, Sr., of St. Johns, MI and formerly of Venice, FL died Friday, July 17, 2009 at the age of 80. The son of Jacob and Loretta (Horan) Herrle, Richard was born March 18, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY. A graduate of Notre Dame University, he worked as an Executive in the food industry. Richard was a Monogram letter winner while at Notre Dame and also a member of the Notre Dame Alumni Association. In 1951 he married Gladys Schlehlein.

Surviving are his daughter; Donna (Jerry Winans) Herrle; son, Robert Herrle; and grandchildren; Hunter Herrle Jordan and Danielle Herrle, one brother, Jack (Eileen) Herrle and several nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gladys; son, Richard A. Herrle, Jr.; and daughter, Tara Marie Herrle.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Westchester, NY. Arrangements made by Osgood Funeral Homes, St. Johns, MI.
