Patricia Joan Conkle

     Patricia Joan Conkle, age 87, of Fowler, MI, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, Lansing, MI.
     A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fowler, MI, at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, with Rev. Fr. John Whitlock presiding. Burial will follow at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery, Fowler, MI. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Goerge Chapel, Fowler, MI. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
     Patricia was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 31, 1938, the daughter of John Joseph and Eileen Virginia (Shaening) Smith. Patricia married Royal Ronald Conkle on September 17, 1971. Royal passed away on August 28, 2022. She worked as a magistrate for the 90th District Court in Charlevoix for many years and later worked in Midland in a law office. Patricia enjoyed sewing and sewed a variety of items for a local church and charity group. As president of her sewing group, she passed her love for sewing to her sewing members and grandchildren. Over the years she made many porcelain and raggedy Ann & Andy dolls that she gave to family. Patricia loved to travel in their motor coach to visit family, surrounding landmarks and camping trips. She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fowler, MI.
     She is survived by her children: Michael (Nancy) Dulz, Karen (Chris) Richards, Alyssa Conkle, Rebecca (Michael) Feldpausch, step-children: Clay (Joey) Conkle, Michele (Steve) Ebright, Tyler (Linda) Conkle, brother Tom (Kathie) Smith and special cousin Barbara Serra. She also survived by grandchildren: Emma, Katie, Eric, Nathaniel, Caleb, Collin, Kyra, Olivia, Curtis, Twiala, Joy, Stephanie, Jonathan, Sharon, Jeremy, Susan, Sarah, Michelle and many great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Beverly, grandson Micah, and niece Stacie.
