Pamela Kim Rice

     Pamela Kim Rice, age 67, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025, at her home.
     Visitation will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI on Friday June 27, 2025 from 11:00-11:50 A.M. The visitation will be followed with a procession to Mt. Rest Cemetery (706 East Steel Street, St. Johns, MI) for a graveside service at 12:00 P.M. Following the graveside service there will be a luncheon at the St. Johns VFW Hall.
     Pamela was born in St. Johns, Michigan on October 13, 1957, the daughter of Ronald Rings and Deloris (Perry) Kieffer. Pamela married Michael Donald Rice on June 4, 2001, in Toledo, Ohio and he survives her. Pamela was a stay at home mom, where she raised 4 wonderful children.
     Pamela enjoyed crafting, sewing and the holidays, especially Christmas. She also loved to decorate, changes in the seasons and holidays meant she had new ideas for her home. Pamela took pride in what she had and made it look beautiful.
     She loved her music. A day never went by that she wasn't listening to her favorite stations, like lite rock and the oldies on the radio. During Christmas time she liked listening to Christmas music. Most of all, though, Pamela loved her kids. She looked forward to their visits so she could be surrounded by her family.
     Pamela's wish was to have her family know how much she loved them and that she wants to be remembered for all the good times they shared.
     She is survived by her husband, Michael Rice; her children: Kelly (Michael) Moore, James (Julie) Ritter, Matthew Ritter (Jennifer Griffith), Melissa Ritter (Joey Gephart), and Kassi Rice; her grandchildren: Alan Moore, Kira (Chad) Lewis, Paige Moore, Gabriel, Kairi, Zander, and Jaxston Ritter, Justin Halloway, Bryant and Bella Ritter, Justin Stewart, Drake Ritter, Alexis Lobdell, Daysen Gephart, Joseph Jensen, Jr.; one great- grandson Hudson Lewis; her brothers: Jeff (Tammy) Rings, Lon (Lorry) Rings, and Bill Rings; her sisters: Suzy (Gary) Molden, and Cookie (Larry) Kleinhardt. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Walter Kieffer, her mother, Deloris Kieffer and father, Ronald Rings.
