Paige Elizabeth Smith

     Paige Elizabeth Smith, age 21, of Portland, MI, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, July 7, 2025 at her home.
     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Goerge Chapel, Fowler , MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Goerge Chapel and again on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service.
     Paige was born in Lansing, Michigan on July 8, 2003, the daughter of Brad and Jacklyn (Kohagen) Smith. She graduated from Carson City-Crystal High School with the class of 2021. Paige recently completed her CNA. She loved caring for elderly people and those around her. She enjoyed trips to the nail salon, going to the gym, attending concerts and midnight runs to Taco Bell. She had a passion for horses her entire life and going to rodeos. Paige liked trips up north to Higgins Lake and Crystal Lake where she liked fishing and boating. She looked forward to staying in cooking at home but she also enjoyed going out to eat very much. Paige will be remembered for her sense of humor, corny jokes and contagious laugh. Most of all Paige loved spending time with her family, her boyfriend Chase and her dog Snoopy.
     She is survived by her mother Jackie (Adam) Laske, father Brad (Kim) Smith, siblings: Kaylie Smith, Liam Laske, Aliyah Laske, step-siblings Mitchell Hilley, McKenzie Hilley, boyfriend Chase Senters, grandparents: Janet and Les Kohagen, aunts and uncles: Jenny McCoy (Brian Rueckert), Lesley Kohagen, Jessica Anthony (Jeff) Smith, Joe (Deb) Smith, and Doug (Katie) Smith. She is also survived by many cousins, special relatives and friends.
     She was preceded in death by her grandparents Roger and Patricia Smith.
     Memorials may be made to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
