Norma Jean Langdon-Maron age 73 of Owosso died Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at her home in Owosso.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Johns United Church of Christ, Owosso, Michigan. Pastor John Downing will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2004 from 2-8 P.M.
Norma was born in Bancroft, Michigan on August 24, 1930 the daughter of J.C. & Lucille (Carr) Cole. She resided most of her life in the Owosso, Michigan area. She married Kenneth Langdon in Bancroft, Michigan on September 12, 1946. Carl passed away in 1989. She subsequently married Louis Maron in Corunna, Michigan on July 23, 1997. Norma took care of foster children for many years, caring for over 50 children. She was also a caregiver to special needs children and adults. She devoted her life to caring for others.
Survivors include; her husband Louis Maron of Owosso, Michigan, daughter, Carolyn & Robert Tower of Owosso, Michigan, son, Bruce & Glenda Langdon of Bannister, Michigan, son, Larry Langdon of Owosso, Michigan, daughter, Patti & Justo Navarro of Chicago, Illinois,
daughter, Shannon Langdon of North Carolina, daughter, Jessica & Jeremy Lawson of Mississippi, daughter-in-law, Terri Langdon of Owosso, Michigan,
special friend Joyce Ulis of Owosso, Michigan. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother, Derwood & Audrey Cole of Perry, Michigan, brother Butch & Betty Ward of Owosso, Michigan, step-sister, Lila & Richard Stevens of Bancroft, Michigan.
She was predeceased by her parents, first husband, son LeRoy Langdon and daughter Wendy Langdon.
Memorials may be made to St. Johns United Church of Christ and Owosso Memorial Hospice. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
