Nona Lou (Babcock) Miller

    Nona Lou Miller, age 85, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, surrounded by her family, at MyMichigan Medical Center - Midland, MI.

    Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

    Nona was born in Farwell, MI, on November 6, 1937, the daughter of Kenneth and Edna (Secord) Babcock. Nona married Richard "Short" Miller on October 25, 1958. He passed away on March 15, 2007.

     Nona was a wonderful cook and was a cake decorator for over forty years. She enjoyed knitting and made many afghans & baby blankets for family and friends. Nona had a green thumb and had many plants throughout her home. Nona was soft hearted and took care of any animal in need. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

     She is survived by her children: Brenda Brennan and David Giles of Ithaca, MI; Brian and Linda Miller of St. Louis, MI; Ronda Miller of Harrison, MI; daughter-in-law Sue Miller of St. Louis, MI; sister-in-law Virginia and Lawrence Davidson; brother-in-law Webb Gwilliams; grandchildren: Adam and Stacie Brennan, Jacob Brennan, Darren and Jenna Brennan, Eric and Keri Wittig, Megan and AJ Perram, Justin and Courtney Wittig, Jeff and Laura Wittig, Leigha and Jason Inbody and Heather and Thomas Lombard. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and lifetime friend Barbara Lynch who was known as "Aunt Barb" to Nona's children. Nona was also known as "Aunt" to Barb's children.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Randall Miller, one brother Kaye Babcock and sisters: Constance Snyder and Judith Guyton.
