Nickolas Bradford "Nick" Jones

     Nickolas Bradford Jones, age 44, went from this world and into the arms of his Savior on June 25th, 2023.

     Nick was a skilled craftsman, family-man, and all around cool guy. He enjoyed movies, music, and learning new things. Born to Cathy and Carl Jones on December 4, 1978, Nick grew up in a big family with lots of love. He had a great imagination, craved adventure, and brought such laughter and joy to his family.

      God and family were Nick’s passions. Nick not only trusted in Jesus as Savior, he was willing to ask the hard questions, challenge his beliefs, and found God to be faithful and real. Nick’s love for God was shared with his wife and best friend Christie. Childhood sweethearts, they were married on June 7, 2002, and were blessed with twenty-one years of marriage. Together they made a beautiful life that touched the hearts of countless people, most importantly their six children. Brayden, Gavin, Micah, Levi, Gracie, and Josiah were Nick’s greatest accomplishments. Often dreaming about who they would become, Nick watched in awe as his children grew into amazing people. He was incredibly proud of each one.

      Nick is survived by his wife Christie Jones, and children: Brayden, Gavin, Micah, Levi, Gracie, and Josiah.  He is also survived by his grandmother Patricia Erickson, his parents Carl and Cathy Jones, mother in-law Linda Baldwin and siblings: Dave (Sheila), Jessica, Tyler (Julianna), Holly (Cameron), April (Dan), Jen (Josh), Dave (Bethany), as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

      To honor Nick, the celebration of life will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Northpointe Community Church, 505 E. Webb St., DeWitt, MI. Burial will be held at Reed Cemetery, Victor Township. Visitation will also be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 28, 2013, at Grove Bible Church, 6990 E. Price Rd., St. Johns, MI. and on Thursday one hour prior to the service at Northpointe Community Church.
