Neil Byron, age 75 of St. Louis, Michigan passed away Sunday, March 28, 2004 at his home in St. Louis, Michigan.
Prayer services will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at 5:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel. Pastor Wendy Orzel will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday March 30, 2004 from 5:30 - 8 P.M.
Neil was born on June 21, 1928 in Wheeler, Michigan, the son of Neil & Ruby Pearl ( Foster ) Byron. On July 6, 1963 he married Marlyn Hodgemire in Kalamazoo, MI. He retired in 1990 from industrial painting. Neil was a member of 1st Congregation Church of Breckenridge, Michigan. He resided most of his life in St. Louis, Michigan .
He is survived by his wife, Marlyn Byron of St. Louis MI, Son: Donald Gleesing of Hemlock, MI, Son: Michael Byron, 3 Grandchildren; Shannon Gleesing, Megan Gleesing, & DJ Gleesing, 2 Brothers: Donald & Alice Byron of Merrill, MI, Vincent & Shirley Byron of Merrill, MI, 5 Sisters: Virginia Drews of St. Louis, MI, Pauline Vedrode of California, Beverly Jean & Ronald Patton of Muskegon, MI, Carol & Major Taylor of Muskegon, MI, Charlene & Edward Burtch of Muskegon, MI.
He was predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers, Richard Byron & James Byron, and 3 sisters, Vivian Willman, Leontine Letts, and Susan Byron.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or the 1st Congregational Church of Breckenridge. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
