Nancy May Romelhart

     Nancy May Romelhart, age 81, of Alma, MI, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Comfort Care Senior Living Assisted Living, Mount Pleasant, MI.
     Funeral Services will be held at St. Louis Holiness Church, 960 E. Monroe Rd. St. Louis, MI 48880 at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 15, 2026, with Pastor Brian Fling officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Jackson, MI.
     Nancy was born in Jackson, MI on May 18, 1944, the daughter of Orville Arthur and Mary Helen (Antone) Romelhart.
     Nancy worked as a nurse’s aide at the Jackson Medical Care Facility for 7 years. After her time at the care facility, she took care of elderly friends in their homes. Nancy dedicated her time visiting elderly in their homes through the Gratiot County Commission on Aging. She also volunteered one day a week at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alma. She frequented the Alma Senior Center looking forward to lunch and games with friends. Nancy will be remembered for her care and concern for others. She was a member of the St. Louis Holiness Church.
     She is survived by her brother Jim and Susie Romelhart of Martin, TN; sister Linda and Rob Walbridge of Traverse City, MI; nieces and nephews: Jeff Romelhart of Jackson, TN; Lisa and Chris Dixon of London, Ontario; Rob Romelhart of Onondaga, MI; Jodie Romelhart of Springport, MI; Brian and Melissa Cowles of Cincinnati, OH; Tim and Faiza Cowles of Chicago, IL; and Emily Walbridge of Vancouver, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents Orville and Mary Helen Romelhart, her brother Robert "Bob" Romelhart, and her grandparents Walter and Elizabeth Romelhart.
