Nancy Jo Lott

     Nancy Jo Lott, age 79, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Grace Haven Assisted Living, St. Johns, MI.
     Funeral Services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Johns, MI, at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 26, 2025, with Rev. Fr. David Speicher presiding. Burial will take place at South Bingham Township Cemetery, St. Johns, MI, at a later date. Visitation will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes- Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 2-8 P.M. with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. with a Rosary and Vigil Service at 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
     Nancy was born in Edmore, MI, on January 18, 1946, the daughter of Francis Joseph and Dorothy (Hoover) Trecy. She graduated from St. Louis High School, Class of 1964. On January 30, 1965, Nancy married Gerald "Jerry" Francis Lott at Mt. St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Louis, MI. He passed away on March 31, 2025.
     Nancy dedicated herself to caring for her family. After she graduated from high school, she married Jerry, and they raised a family together. During that time, she ran a baby sitting service and later attended Lansing Community College to pursue her Medical Assistant Certificate. Nancy worked for many years at Dr. B.P. Rajesh's office and retired from there. She volunteered her time to Meals on Wheels and helped with the funeral luncheons at St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a member, as well as chaperoning field trips at St. Joseph Catholic School. Nancy loved to bowl and bowled on a league for many years. Nancy enjoyed going to the Senior Center and loved playing Euchre with friends and family. She was very crafty, enjoyed putting puzzles together, word searches and playing card games with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching game shows and soap operas. Nancy was a supportive grandma who loved attending her grandchildren's sporting events and school activities.
     She is survived by her daughter Malinda (Jacob) Huffman of Lansing; daughter Michele (Tom) Fraker of Charlotte; son Gerald "Chip" (Charice) Lott of St. Peters, MO; daughter Melanie (Jim) Kotowicz of St. Johns; daughter Monica (Blake) Smith of Holt; thirteen grandchildren: Thomas (Alexis) Fraker, Luke Fraker, Oakley Fraker, Emma Lott (fiancé Alex Schilling), Grace Lott, Grant Lott, Madisyn (Connor) Jackson, Allisyn Kotowicz, Jamison Kotowicz, Jocelyn Kotowicz, Alayna Smith, Ayden Smith, and Aubreyana Smith; step-grandchildren: Jordynn Huffman and Airman Ross Huffman; two great-grandchildren: Ethan and Emmett Fraker; sister Janet and Al Graham of Tecumseh. Nancy is also survived by brother-in-law Robert (Carol) Lott and sisters-in-law Frances (Dennis) Springstead and Kay Lott. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of sixty years, her infant son Stuart, grandson Blake II, and siblings: Patricia (Pete) Pascalenos, Mary (Jim) Smith, Francis (Julie) Trecy, and Richard (Yvonne) Trecy, also her in-laws: Patricia Lott, David Lott, Michael Lott, Roxanne Lott, and Sylvia Loomis.
