Mary Wynn Royce

     Mary Wynn Royce, age 76, of St. Johns, MI, (formerly of Lansing, MI), passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor, St. Johns, MI. 

     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Fr. Michael Williams presiding. She will be laid to rest with her grandparents at Mona View Cemetery, Muskegon Heights, MI. Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.

     Mary was born in Muskegon, Michigan on March 2, 1948, the daughter of Erwin Lee and Marcella Norine (Ross) Royce. She graduated from Coopersville High School in 1966.

     Mary was Pastoral Director for St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dexter, MI for many years. She enjoyed baking and reading and attending musicals and plays. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with her many nieces and nephews. 

     She is survived by her siblings: Paul (Janet) Royce of Manistee, MI; Jean Rose of Spring Lake, MI; Joan Van Kampen of Troy, MI; nine nieces and nephews: Jeff (Andrea) Rose, Preston Rose, Parker Rose, Cohen Hamilton, Monroe Hamilton, Brandon Van Kampen, Andrew Van Kampen, Ashley Van Kampen, and Megan Van Kampen, and close friend Darlene Costello. She was preceded in death by her parents.
