Mary Jane (Durham) Morris

     Mary Jane Morris, age 75, of Middleton, MI, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at her home.

      A Memorial Service will be held at Middleton Community Church, 233 S. Newton St., Middleton, MI, at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

      Mary was born in Flint, Michigan on April 2, 1948, the daughter of Warren Patrick and Mary Inez (Steele) Durham. On June 27, 1964, Mary married Earl James Morris. They were married fifty-three years prior to his death on February 12, 2018.

      The two words that best describe Mary are "Firecracker" and "Fiesty." She kept everyone on their toes. You never knew what mischief she was getting into. She was a member of Middleton Community Church.

      She is survived by her daughters: Betty (Dan) Hayward of St. Johns, MI; and Dawn (Bill) Purchase of Katy, TX; son-in-law Curt Feldpausch of Westphalia, MI; her sister Martha Hunt; eight grandchildren, seventeen great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl, daughter Patricia Feldpausch, her siblings: Chuck Durham, Josephine Schalin, and Becky Durham.
