Mary Ann Mizer

     Mary Ann Mizer, age 94, of St. Louis, Michigan, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
     In following Mary Ann's wishes, there will be no public services. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, Michigan.
     Mary Ann was born in Standish, Michigan on January 11, 1931, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Mazlik) Maciejewski. On August 21, 1948, Mary Ann married Wendell Dean Mizer in Ithaca, Michigan. They were blessed with sixty-eight years of marriage prior to his passing on March 9, 2017. Mary Ann loved her family. She enjoyed flowers and spent many hours caring for her yard and flower gardens. She loved to play Parchessi, and usually won.
     She is survived by her two daughters: Wendy Fachting of St. Louis, MI; and Kathy (Jim) Smith of St. Louis, MI; ten grandchildren: Tina (Scott) Davidson, Amy (Jeff) Hale, Tricia (Jerry) Pierce, Jill Mizer, Jeff (Sarah) Smith, Tim (Pam) Fachting, Jennifer Mizer, Jason (Heather) Fachting, Lori Mizer, and Jodi Wenzlick; many great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren; her brother Louis (Jeanette) Peterman; her sister Helen Beeson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wendell, one son Larry Mizer, and two great- grandchildren: Abigail Fachting, and Jarred Bott, and three siblings: Barbara Ropp, Marlene Bradburn, and Robert Dattos.
