Marvin Glover, age 57, of Ithaca, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw.
Marvin was born October 23, 1960 in Alma, the son of Melvin Arthur and Mable (Zimmerman) Glover. He enjoyed watching football (a Dolphins fan), hunting, and playing fantasy football. He also enjoyed outdoor bar-b-ques. Family was important to him, and he was always there on a moments notice, and his real love was the time he got to spend with his granddaughters and his daughter, Rachel, who was the pride and joy of his life.
Marvin is survived by his daughter, Rachel (David Jr.) Hunter of Ithaca; his granddaughters, Tatum and Natalee; his sisters, Melinda (Larry) Reinke and Marie Geitman; and his brother, Mike (Kelly) Glover.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca, with Pastor Dave Perry officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Cemetery.
