"Thank You for bringing me through all the experiences of this day--to this moment of rest and peace and sleep. While Your shades of night are drawn, hold me in Your loving presence. I now place myself and all that pertains to me and my world in your care and keeping, trusting You utterly, leaving You the vigil while I sleep in heavenly peace. Thank You for everything! Good night, dear God!" (This poem was taken from Good Night, Dear God by Viola Lukawiecki).
