Marilyn B. Mockridge

    Marilyn B. Mockridge, age 85, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Friday, July 24, 2026.

     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 1, 2026, with Elder Wayne Schlarf officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Saturday at 11:00 A.M. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

     Marilyn was born in Boyne City, Michigan on July 31, 1940, the daughter of Alfred and Ruby (LeBaron) Nicewander. She was a graduate of Ithaca High School. On November 20, 1959, she married Lawrence Mockridge at the Methodist Church in Ithaca.

     Marilyn loved working in her flower garden. She had a love of country music and dancing. Marilyn enjoyed watching Dancing With The Stars. She was active with her religious congregation. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially playing with her grandchildren, and planning family reunions. Marilyn will always be remembered for her kind heart and was known as 'Grandma' to many. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

     Marilyn is survived by her husband Lawrence Mockridge of Ithaca, MI; daughter Pam Myslivec of Mt. Pleasant, MI; daughter Vanessa Mockridge of Ithaca, MI; son Larry and Annette Mockridge of Ithaca, MI; daughter Krishna and Todd Santana of Alma, MI; and son Aaron and Stacy Mockridge of Allendale, MI; grandchildren: Tyler Rhoades, Kara Henning, Jared Myslivec, Mason Keiser, Chase Keiser, Myranda James, Koby Lee, Kenzie Detwiler, Leah Mockridge, Lauren Mockridge, and Halle Mockridge; great-grandchildren: Drew Henning, Harrison Henning, Greyson James, Amelia James, and Elle Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and her stillborn daughter, Cynthia, and son-in-law Joe Myslivec.
