Marilyn Myrtle Goodwin

     Marilyn Myrtle Davis Goodwin, age 85, of Ithaca, Michigan, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025, at her home.
     A Private Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, Michigan, with Pastor Tyler Barlage officiating. Burial will take place at Chapel Garden Cemetery, Seville Twp., Michigan
     Marilyn was born in Emerson Twp., Michigan on January 5, 1940, the daughter of Roy William and Myrtle (Purdy) Davis. She graduated from Ithaca High School with the Class of 1958. On October 3, 1958, Marilyn married William Charles Goodwin at the Ithaca Presbyterian Church. They were married fifty-nine years prior to his passing on September 1, 2017.
     Marilyn enjoyed cooking and baking. She was an avid crafter. She also liked crocheting, knitting, and reading. She was an animal lover and had many dogs and cats. Most of all, Marilyn loved spending time family, especially her granddaughter and great grandchildren.
     Marilyn is survived by her son Charles Goodwin, daughter Michelle (Denny) Wyeth, granddaughter Rebecca (Dan) Spencer, two great-grandchildren: Makayla Curtis, and Zayden Spencer; her sister Marlene Davis, niece Marina, great nephew Dakota, sister-in-law Rosalie Davis, and niece Diane. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, and her brother Bill Davis.
