Marietta Zerba

May 5, 1919 - May 23, 2018

Marietta Zerba, age 99, of New Haven Township, Sumner, Michigan, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Arbor Grove Assisted Living in Alma.

Funeral services will be 12pm Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca with Pastor George Showers officiating. Burial will follow at New Haven Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11am until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Haven Church of God or to The Care Team Hospice.

Marietta was born May 5, 1919 to Clarence and Luella (Foster) Little in Wheeler, Michigan. She married Kenneth Zerba October 9, 1940. He preceded her in death in 2002.

Marietta enjoyed cooking, vegetable gardening, and sewing. What she loved most of all however was her family. She was very proud of them, and loved getting together with them.

Marietta is survived by her son Keith (Judy) Zerba; grandchildren Kris, Karla, Kimberly, Karen, Karol; 9 great grandchildren; and sisters Leola and Jeanne.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Zerba, Jr.,  grandson Kent A. Zerba, and four sisters Lucille Fetters, Marjorie Weaver, Grace Joley, and Hazel Kirkey.
