Margie Elaine Woodbury

     Margie Elaine Woodbury, age 92, of Hemlock, MI, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Pine Haven Assisted Living with her family by her side.
     A cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Riverdale Cemetery, Riverdale, MI.
     Margie was born in Riverdale, Michigan on June 13, 1933, the daughter of Arthur L. and Ruby D. (Jason) Johnson. She graduated from Ashley High School with the Class of 1951. On August 24, 1955, Margie married Donald "Jim" Somerville at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Ithaca, Michigan. They were married thirty-six years prior to his passing on September 17, 1991. On June 11, 1994, she married Leon Woodbury. They were married seventeen years prior to his passing on October 1, 2011.
     Margie was a hard worker. She worked at Wolverine Worldwide for over 30 years, and Greenville Products for several more years. She then took secretarial training and was a secretary/bookkeeper for Patient Equipment Locker until her retirement. She enjoyed being an Avon Representative for many years.
     Margie enjoyed traveling to Florida with Leon and taking bus tours with her high school friend, Fran. She always had a beautiful flower garden and loved to care for her flowers. She liked to spend time at the Ithaca Senior Center and many friends there.
     She is survived by her son James (Kathy) Somerville of Breckenridge, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Donald, second husband Leon, daughter Cheryl Hess, infant grandson Oscar James Flemming, and sister Doris Tomes.
