Lonnie Loren Simcox

Lonnie L. Simcox, age 51, died August 24, 2013, at his home in rural Alma.

Lonnie was born October 21,1961, in Brighton, Florida, the son of Oran Milton and Maxine Pearl (Gorham) Simcox.  He married Pat Hamer in 1995.

Lonnie loved the outdoors, and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing along the Maple River.

Lonnie is survived by his wife, Pat Simcox; his children, Joseph (Molly) Bodman of Trufant, Jessica Hamer of Lowell, and Phillip Simcox of St. Louis; his granddaughter, Caydence Maynard; and his brother, Ronald Simcox of Mattawan.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers and sisters, Gary Simcox, John Simcox, Sheila Martin, and Kay Francis.
