Lloyd Jerome Brock

     Lloyd Jerome Brock, age 85, of St. Louis, MI, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at MyMichigan Medical Center-Gratiot, Alma, MI.
     A Celebration of Life will be held at his home 6117 North Royce Road, St. Louis, MI Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. Lloyd was born in Carson City, MI, on September 13, 1940, the son of Isaac and Florence (Henry) Brock. He married Michele (Foster) Brock, on September 22, 2004. He retired from Alma Products after several years of service.
     Lloyd lived a simple life and loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and long car rides exploring country roads listening to OLD country music. He was most happy to be home drinking a cold beer and swapping stories with family and friends in a lawn chair or in his garage. He loved NASCAR racing (if you showed up during a race you would be ignored) while being surrounded by his dogs and scratch off lottery tickets!
     Earlier years he was an excellent mechanic building and racing cars and a mud-bogger truck winning many trophies and making many friends in the circuit. Trouble Maker was his truck. He was musically inclined singing and playing guitar with his siblings from childhood up. He was an excellent neighbor ... he loved his neighbors and they loved him back. He was a straight shooter with an amazing memory. He had high expectations for his family and he stood firm on hard work and core values. 
    He is survived by his wife Michele Brock of St. Louis, MI; his children: Brenda and Mike Hale of Lake George, MI; Sarah and Randall Robinson of Burleson, Texas; and Mark and Kristine Brock of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren: Rick, Trevor, Jayme, Angie, Dana, Alicia ,Mark, and Allen; and 8 great- grandchildren; the mother of his children Barbara J. Nichols of Alma, MI; and former son-in-law Rick L. Edgar of Michigan. He is also survived by his brother Leo Brock; sister-in-law Kay Brock, brother-in-law Larry Howd, and many nieces and nephews. Friends like family Becky, Jason, JT, Tom, and Carol. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters: Connie Howd, and Carolyn House, his brother: Larry Brock, sister-in-law: Glenda Brock, and brother-in- law Harold House.
