Linda was born in Flint, Michigan on June 27, 1945, the daughter of Edward Wesley and Lois Mae (Vertrees) Spence. She graduated from Southwestern High School, Flint, MI, with the Class of 1963.
On August 9, 1969, Linda married Gary Lee Inman at Faith Missionary Church, Flint, MI. They were blessed with nearly forty-nine years of marriage prior to his passing on May 12, 2018. Gary shared her deep love for the Lord. Linda often told the story of how she prayed for her future husband, trusting God to lead her—and He did. She and Gary built a marriage rooted in prayer, Scripture, and service to others. Together they raised four children: sons: David, and Dan (Heather); and daughters: Deborah (Matt) Elkins and Diana (Nate) Stuller.
Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Sierra (Robert) Konkright, Madison Stechschulte, Kayden Inman, Hannah Shamblin, Brenna Inman, Chelsie Shamblin, Sam Inman, Spencer Inman, Emily Shamblin, Danny Inman, and Madelyn Elkins; and great-grandchildren: Abbigail, Elijah, and Aulora.
She is also survived by her brother Michael Spence, sister-in-law Barb Spence, brother-in-law Russell Jacko, many nieces and nephews, and several dear friends. She was preceded in death her father Edward Spence, mother Lois Soldan, husband Gary, son David Inman, and two siblings: Richard Spence, and Susan Jacko.
Linda will be remembered for her unwavering joy in all circumstances, her deep love and knowledge of Scripture, and her devotion to sharing God’s Word. She often spoke proudly of having read the Bible cover to cover numerous times and found strength and peace in its pages daily.
Linda and Gary shared a profound love for the land of Israel and the Jewish people. Together they co-hosted the television program, Treasures of the Kingdom, where they taught about the Hebrew roots of the faith and the promises of God to His people.
Linda’s radiant faith, kind heart, and steadfast spirit touched every life she encountered. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now rejoicing in the presence of her Savior, reunited with her loved ones in Glory.
